中学校２年生対象～「百践錬磨～レシテーションコンテストを開催しました」”2023 Year 2 English Recitation Contest”
This year was the 5th annual recitation contest at Hiroshima Kokusai Gakuin Junior High School, and there were some rather big changes compared to previous years.
広島国際学院中学校での5回目の英語のレシテーションコンテストで、以前の年と比べていくつかの大きな変更がありました。
Students presented in groups of 3 or 4, but this year the content was scaled to match their Eiken level. Students with Eiken Pre-2 and above had some very long, difficult passages to memorize!
今まで生徒たちは3人または4人のグループで発表していましたが、今年の内容は、彼らの英検レベルに合わせてスケールされました。そのため英検準２級以上の生徒は非常に長く、難しい文章を記憶する必要がありました！
One other noticeable difference were the MCs. Typically, one of the English teachers will lead the ceremonies, but this year was hosted by a team of students. Of course, everything was done in English. A big thank you goes out to the students who volunteered to host, we really appreciated your help.
もう一つの大きな違いは、司会者です。通常は英語の先生が司会者になりますが、今年は生徒たちにやって頂きました。もちろん、すべてが英語で行われました。司会をしてくれた生徒たちには感謝の意を表します。本当に助かりました。
